Many organizations are finding themselves in situations where they are being forced to rethink their programming, funding, and policies. Policymakers are also finding themselves needing to figure out how best to pivot and continue to allocate resources to ensure positive outcomes.

As funding sources and policies change, it will become ever more important to have a way to measure outcomes vs. investment, and be able to make changes to create more efficient processes.

The Washington State Institute for Public Policy has developed a process to draw conclusions about what works and what does not work to achieve particular outcomes of legislative interest. It provides well-researched public policies that lead to better outcomes and more efficient use of taxpayer dollars.
